Red Ribbon Run: Half Marathon, 5K, and 1K

The Half Marathon was off to a soggy start, but some finished it in record time! Thank you to all the runners who participated and helped support the youth of Midland County who choose to stay drug and alcohol free!

Thank you to the runners who traveled great distances to be here. One was from Pennsylvania and another was from Minnesota.

Race results and pictures will be posted by November 4th.

Registration for Red Ribbon Run 2006:

bulletHalf Marathon registration begins at 8:00am, run will begin at 9:00am
5K and 1K registration begins at 9:00am, run/walk will begin at 10:00am

Awards will be given as close to 12:00 noon as possible.

Registration Form: Will be available for the 2006 event on July 1, 2006

Route Map: We are working to have the course re-certified and will post the new map in July 2006

Mark your calendars! The 2006 Red Ribbon Run will be scheduled for October 21st! Keep looking for more information

The Red Ribbon Run began with a clean-up meeting lead by Teens in Charge and with the help of Keep Midland Beautiful!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Teens in Charge is the youth lead program of D-FY-IT. These youth help raise community awareness of drug and alcohol issues that face teens today.

Because of their volunteerism and desire to make a difference, the Red Ribbon Run is growing into a great community success!

 

 

 

 

 

Registration for the Half Marathon began at 8:00am
